On my system it improves performance tremendously, though that is probably largely because I run SLI and have to run full fullscreen for SLI to function properly.Įdit: Forgot to mention - toggle is bound to scroll lock. I highly recommend playing the game in full fullscreen (press alt+enter simultaneously - you cannot just hold alt and press enter - to enter full fullscreen). I cant promise you wont be banned for using things like Reshade or SweetFX though, as they inject DLLs and Gameguard often doesnt take kindly to that. Just copy-paste the whole thing into your MasterEffect.h file. You can download reshade from, and the MasterEffect package from this thread.

(Note that I have two 970s in SLI, and that if I lowered my resolution from 3325x1871 I would maintain 60 FPS.) Ambient occlusion and depth of field are both fairly performance-heavy shaders. On my system, it brings me from a solid 60 to around 50 FPS.
